After i learnt how to crochet, the first thing i wanted to do was show off my new found hobby and the best way i found was to make a small crochet gift for my mum. (my first knit project was for her too)
I say small because as a new person to crochet, spending a lot of time on a crochet project can be overwhelming because you are not fast at the craft yet as you are still new so it is best to focus on the small crochet projects.
