Over the years, i have many a loooot if cardigans and sweaters, and what i found works for me (as is size friendlt) is knitting without rigid instructions. Now if you are someone that loves to follow exact crochet patterns with well calculated stitch counts, i am gonna ask you to loosen up a but!

If this is something you wish to surprise someone with, then we might have a bit of a problem as this pattern is measurement based. Meaning, you will take your own measurements!
You will make a chain and hold it against yourself and see if you’re loving the length. You can make this crochet cardigan cropped (kinda like i did) or turn it into a crochet duster cardigan completely.
How do you crochet a cardigan in any size?
Well that’s easy, you firstly pick the supplies you want. Say you’ve been wanting to make a chunky cardigan and you happened to have some chunky yarn in your stash, this is your chance to use it.
The pattern instructions will tell you to make a chain that meets your satisfaction, then it will advice you on how to work the front right panel (keep in mind it is a drop shoulder crochet cardigan). If you want the shoulder to drop to your elbow, that is absolutely fine, no judgement here, it is your cardigan.
The pattern followed (which you can find HERE) comes with a project tracker which allows you to keep track of EVERYTHING you used for the cardigan as well as stitch and row count incase you will want to make the cardigan in the future.
At the end, we will all have a cardigan that looks similar in stitch and design but tailored to meet everyone’s personal preference!
