Crochet Christmas Ornaments

Christmas ornaments are quick and easy projects to make. If you dedicated a day to your crochet christmas ornaments, you would have a whole tree covered.

The patterns i will share with you today are going to be simple and timely.

I hope you enjoy this wonderful selection of free patterns and you will be inspired to make your own beautiful crochet ornaments.

If you are looking to make a bit of money this christmas season, then you can consider selling the ornaments you make. Since they are a quick make, you will not struggle with time.

And if you feel like gifting them to someone, that is also another great idea.

Required Supplies

  • Yarn: Each pattern will specify which yarn you should use, but for the majority, it is probably a yarn you have at home. Since most crochet christmas ornaments are small projects, you will have something to do with the scrap yarn.  My personal favourite yarn to use for crochet decorations is a DK weight yarn. They are simple ,perfect size and lovely to work with.
  • Crochet Hooks: Each of the patterns will have the crochet hook size that is required listed. My assumption is, you already have some crochet hooks, but if you are like me and a few sets are not enought, check out furls crochet hooks.
  • Other Notions: And finally, other crochet supplies you may need  are: a yarn needle, scissors, safety eyes, stitch markers, some toy stuffing and measuring tape.

Can a beginner crochet ornaments?

Yes! Some crochet christmas ornaments patterns here are just a chain and one or two rows of double crochet. That is it!

Most even come with video tutorials, so if you are a visual learner like i myself, then you will not have a hard time crocheting your very own christmas ornaments.
