DESIGN INSPIRATION
Normally, I am really a huge stripe person (colour block is my favourite!) but lately I’ve been in love with the solid colour crochet projects. I can imagine wearing this top with a large straw hat and flowy skirt while strolling along a beach, this top makes for that perfect occasion.
YARN
i think this DK weight yarn is my favourite yarn to work with so far. Together with the 6.00 mm crochet hook, it gives the crochet summer top the perfect drape.
*The sizing guide follows size XS(S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL). E.g. “Ch 100(112, 124, 136, 148, 160, 172) means Ch 100 for XS, Ch 112 for Small, Ch 124 for Medium, Ch 136 for Large, Ch 148 for XL, Ch 160 for 2XL and Ch 172 for 3XL.
PATTERN NOTES

The Crochet summer top can be worked to your desired length.

Now we have come to the window stitch rows.

Dc in the first st, You will dc in the ch1 spaces and the dc stitches across for three rows, at the end, you will rep the widow rows.
Alternate between these rows till your crochet cherry summer top reaches a length you desire. cut off the yarn and make another pannel exactly the same.
CONNECTION
Lay both pannels on top of each other, place the stitch markers where you want the crochet summer top neck opening to reach and the same for the arm holes. see picture below for guidance.
Use a 4.00 crochet hook to close the sides and shoulder portions, if you preffer a yarn needle, be sure to use it.
After you have closed the sides, work 2 single crochet rows using a 6.00 crochet hook around the arm opening, do this for both sides, and weave in the ends.
