Free Crochet 3D Retro Daisy Granny Square Pattern
Centre
Make a MR, secure (ch 4 and slst to first ch if you cannot make a mr. Make 8 sc in MR (8)
slst to join the tow, ch2 (does not count as a st). 2 dc in each st. (16) ch 1, cut off yarn
Attach new color, connect to st. ch3 (counts as a st), place 2 more dc in same st as a stotal of 3dc, skp 1 st, place 3dc in next st, skp 1 st, rep. DO NOT cut off yarn at the end.
attack new color to st from the centre st. ch 8 (counts as dc and ch5), dc in the next skpd st (see images below)
Rep dc, ch5 all the way around, slst to the first ch3 we made.
Going back to the previous color,ch 3 (counts as a st), 2dc in next st to incr, dc in next st, ch 2, rep in the next 3dc cluster and all around. slst to first ch 3, do not cut off yarn.
Back to the previous color (pink for me), ch 3 (counts as a st),dc in same st, ch5, 2dc in next st.
Back to previous colour, ch 3 (counts as a st), 2dc in next st to incr, 1dc in the next st. ch 2, rep all around.
Using the same color yarn, we will finish off our petals, slst to ch3 space, ch1, sc in same st, skp next st, 5dc in the next st, skp next st, sc. Ch 2, rep all around.
At the end, slst, ch1 and cut off yarn. We are done with the petals.
Back to previous colour, ch 3 (counts as a dc), 2dc in next st to incr, 5 dc in ch5 behind the petal, dc in next previous dc st, 2dc in next st, 5dc in ch5 behind petal. Rep all the way round.
We will finish with the same color yarn. Slst to previous ch 3 space, ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 5 st for a total of 6sc, hdc in next st, dc in next st, 2dc ch2 2dc in next st to make corner, dc in next st, hdc in next st, 11 sc in next stitches, make another corner and rep all the way round.
At the end you will make 5 sc since we started with 6sc.
For the final round of dc, slst in the first sc you made ch 3 (counts as a st), dc in all st, making the corners as you should. At the end you will have a retro crochet daisy granny square!
