The bunny season is upon us, and what better way to put a smile on someones face that gifting them a crochet easter bunny coaster?
It is an under 30 minutes project and a scrap yarn one at that!

Easter always bring back good memories to me, but i have never sast down and made a project special for easter, so this year is a first. And i decided to make me a crochet easter bunny coaster.
The simplicity to make these is what i love the most. Keeping a project on the crochet hook for long is always you flirting with the temptations to start another! That is something we all crocheters suffer from LOL!

Dc- Double crochet
Tr- Treble crochet
Slst- Slip stitch
Ch- Chain
St- Stitches
Rep- Repeat
GOOD TO KNOW
We work the pattern in the round, like we are making a place mat.
We will not detach the yarn till we are done and we are weaving in the ends.
PATTERN
THE BODY.
Make a magic ring, and ch 2, into the magic ring, place 12 dc. Slst into the top of the first ch 2 you made, close the magic ring by pulling on the long tail.
Round 1: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st X12 times, slst to join
Round 2: Ch2, 1dc, 2dc X12 times slst to join
Round 3: Ch2, 1dc, 1dc, 2dc x12 times, slst to join
Round 4 Ch 2, 1dc, 1dc, 1dc, 2dc X12 times, slst to join.
THE HEAD
Ch2, 2dc in same st
2tr in next st
2tr in next st
2dc in next st
EAR(MAKE 2)
Ch 9, slst into the second ch from the hook,
1dc into the next 2 ch
1tr into the next 3 ch
1dc into the last 2 ch
Slst to join to the top of the last ch.
Ch 9 and rep this for the second ear. After, ch1 and cut yarn, weave in the ends.
With your yarn needle, make an eye on the bunny head, this is optional.
And just like that, your crochet easter bunny coaster is all done!
